Wings over Willen, coffee morning and plant sale
At 9.30am sharp, you can watch Douglas C-47 Dakota (ZA947) fly over Willen church in honour of its architect
Robert Hooke. Join us for a cuppa in our garden of remembrance, keep eyes to the skies
while choosing plants grown in Willen Village by our very own green fingered gardeners.
Caveat: This Dakota is the only one of its kind still flying.

The Robert Hooke birthday social
A community cuppa and a tour of the Grade I listed St Mary Magdalane Church, the only
church built solely by Robert Hooke and judged by Historic England to be a building
of exceptional special interest. Also, a chance to buy plants and get a few top tips from
our green fingered gardeners. Free entry to both events with donations welcomed
towards repair of the leaking church tower.
